problem connecting Tab A8 (A5500) to home wifi router

Would be much obliged to a hint to solve the problem. 


Brand new device. Worked for a week or so with my home router, yet has lost the network connection at one day and can't get connected anymore. 


The tablet connects though to other wlans: mobile-based hotspot or open public networks. 


Tablet SW: A5500_A442_000_029_150324_ROW

Router : WPA/WPA2-PSK, WPS enabled, b/g/n protocols enabled, 2.4 and 5 MHz on. 


Pls do not advice me to re-configure the router. About ten other devices (including 2 Android tablets) are working just fine :smileyfrustrated:

I have The Same Problem Too Please Help me in this issue i have a new tab and Can't Conect To a n home network if it is WPA2 PSk

similar problem here - the only way to connect to my home wifi (works everywhere else without problem) is to turn the router off & back on; same with the tablet, then go into connect to WLAN; select advance options, select WPS push button then click the button on the router.  sometimes this takes several attempts and only lasts for 1/2 hour or so.  Also annoys everyone else in the house when I turn the router off!  any other tablets, labtops & phones in the house connect without problem; but the Lenovo one only states the WiFi status as 'saved' or 'authoriation problem most of the time'.  Driving me mad! 


Any idea how to get someone from Lenovo to provide some insight / support?  Is there something in the settings I should change?
