Re: Android 8.1 for Tab 4 10

I hope they will not wait January for December security patch. For me this is very problematic, this tablet is losing purpose with this battery life issue.

Re: Android 8.1 for Tab 4 10

I tried clearing cache fo the bootloader, but I'm not sure if it's going to work. It's been like 3 hours and not battery drain happened. If it works I'll tell you guys tomorrow.

Re: Android 8.1 for Tab 4 10

Hi,

Appreciate the update but there is a major oversight , unless I can change the colour myself in a setting. The three navigation buttons are now black and you can't see them when using apps and forums including this one.. please fix this. Please don't suggest inverting the colour it looks rubbish.

Thankyou

Re: Android 8.1 for Tab 4 10

Restarting the tablet again fixed it.

Re: Android 8.1 for Tab 4 10

Clearing cache from the bootloader solved the battery drain problem. (At least for me. It may not work for you)

Steps:

1.Turn off the tablet.

2.Press the volume up and power key and keep pressing until bootloader shows up.

3.use the volume up/down key to navigate to recovery mode (it shows up on the top of screen) then press the power key to inter.

4.go to wipe cache and press the power key then klick on yes.

5.after finished up just restart the tablet (it's the first option in the bootloader).

This worked for me, I hope it will do for you too.

If the instructions are somehow unclear just write a reply and iI'l answer you if i can help.

Enjoy 😃
