Just to keep the discussion alive: I was happy to see that my newly purchased A10-70L is due for an update in August 2015. So how long will it take?
Oops, just noticed that it is already available under "system upgrade". Hope everything goes well...

I've been waiting for 6 months for updates to S8-50 Wifi and nothing. I own 2 Lenovos (Yoga 2 1050) and will never buy another Lenovo. Battery life is not nearly as long as other tablets and there are lots of programs that won't even run on Intel hardware. Try harder or don't try at all.

So can anybody at Lenovo tell me the purpose of this thread other than to make newer users think they might one day get a response from Lenovo with something resembling a time frame for when their tablet will get an upgrade only to have it ignored?
I feel sorry for anybody honestly thinking this thread might do something like provide a real time frame for their patience since the only way to really find out if your tablet will get an upgrade seems to be to check for update on it and be suprised if one shows up.

Hi everybody. New here and happy with my Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2-1050F and android version 5.0.1. My wife has a Motorola Moto G 2013 which have just update to 5.1 from 5.0.2 and it works like a charm. Since we are under the same company, is Lenovo working or at least thinking in a new update for this tablet or honestly must we forget it? Regards.

I bought Lenovo Tab 2 A8-50F and I am very satisfied about this tablet. But in Google, Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been released. It has many improvements and design and UI changes. Will my tablet update to Marshmallow?

I also got a new A10-70L, but 4.4.4 is the most recent version. There is no update to version 5.0 available using system update. How did you get it, is it really verseion 5.0?
