Since some of the Yoga Tablet 2's currently have 5.0 Lollipop in beta(in china) the S8-50 will will almost definitely get it(since its similar to the Yoga Tablet 2 8) but not before since the Yoga is more popular but don't count on them updating that list, its not indictative of everything currently in development internally.
When is the question though but really . . . . . . . don't expect to see it before you see it for the Yoga Tab 2's.

Looks like the s8-50 finally made it onto the roadmap. Buuuuut now everything is Q3 of 2015. By the time Lenovo rolls out Lollipop to anything, Google will be into its next revision of android. If they plan on taking forever and a day to roll out updates, the least they could do is unlock this thing so the modding community can work on it.

Major issues with the new update to Android 5.0. WiFi does not stay connected. Many Google apps will not run, including Gmail!
The only reason I updated to 5.0 is I was anxiously awaiting the addition of multi-user support to my Lenovo A10-70 tablet. I had bought it for my young daughter after she broke the screen on her Nexus. Well, without support for User Accounts, this tablet is useless to a parent. I cannot believe a large company like Lenovo does not offer this with its Android tablets!
Mark, Cleo, Serene, Lenovo admins - I hope you are reading this. I am also posting this on Amazon where I bought my tablet. Such a shame - great hardware but such poor software choices.
