Hi, I need to update my TAB 2 A7-20F to lollipop for an application I am required to use for school. When I look on the Lenovo website it states To Be Confirmed. Is there a work around to download lollipop or do you know if the release date is coming soon? Can anyone assist me on getting this updated?
All the other Lenovo tablets older and newer than TAB 2 A7-20F ready have the latest Android OS. Is there a problem with TAB 2 A7-20F? My device is brand new. Would it be covered under warranty to replace it for a model that can be appropriatly upgraded if this one does not have the capability?
Can anyone assist me with my concerns?

You should be able to upgrade via the "About Tablet" section in "Settings". Just click on the "Upgrade" section. If not, take your tablet back to the store and exchange it. Lenovo doesn't support their products very well.

I have be told TAB2 A10-70 can manual update to Android 6 Marshmallow, see below. However, I still cannot find the factory image. Does anyone know about it?

Peter_SF, where do you get the idea that the Tab2 A10-70 has an Android 6 update? Nothing in that screenshot of yours implies that.
I saw another post in Office Depot's customer review. Lenovo does not support OTA update for 6.0, but users can manually install Android 6. Also, Lenovo has a similar device TAB3 Business Edition, it is running Marshmallow.

Sorry, that is nonsense. Whoever wrote that message with the easeus link was wrong.
There is no official update to Android 6 for the Tab2 A10-70.
You also cannot just use the Tab3's firmware, because it uses different hardware and has a different MediaTek chip.
