Re: [BUG] Installing OTA fail:TB-X705F_USR_S200095_20190528_Q00332_ROW

Dear all,

well, I thought that using no SD card would solve the unexpected shut off of my tablet.

But today I experienced again an unexperienced shut off of my tablet with no card installed.

Miguel from Lenovo, please forward this issue to your team again!

It's anoying. Please let me know if I can - somehow - assist yor engineering team.

Lets keep being positive just to get the tablet as reliable as it could be!

Cheers to all!

TB-X705F audio lag when casting, poor picture quality on tv

Have recently upgraded from a Lenovo Tab 4, to a Tab P10.  Using the original Tab 4 for casting to my Panasonic Viera tv worked perfectly.  Using the Tab 10, we now have audio lag and a pixelated screen on the tv after approximately 5 minutes of starting to live stream anything (Netflix and Amazon Prime Video for instance). The tablets however look absolutely fine. Have been using in Lenovo cast option on both tablets.  Can you help please?

Re: [BUG] Installing OTA fail:TB-X705F_USR_S200095_20190528_Q00332_ROW

I am also experiencing interference between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz wifi.

When I am on 2.4ghz wifi my Logitech M337 Bluetooth mouse becomes unusably sluggish,

And my Xbox one s Bluetooth controller does not reconnect if disconnected.

If I am on 5ghz wifi Bluetooth functions normally.

This problem was present before Android 9 update, and is still a problem after Android 9 update.

I tried my Bluetooth mouse on a Huawei smartphone with 2.4ghz wifi, and it worked very smoothly.

Unfortunately the device still sometimes try to turn itself off, even after a factory reset.

I am now totally against updating the P10 to Android 9 until Lenovo improves the software.

More than likely find the Logitech mouse is the issue.  My Logitech Bluetooth mouse as always troublesome.  Changed to a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse never had any more issues.

Delete your XBox Bluetooth and reconnect and your connection issues will be over.

I tested my Logitech M337 bluetooth mouse on my laptop with 2.4ghz wifi and it worked perfectly smooth.

So I think the Logitech mouse is not the problem.

Trying to re-pair the Xbox one controller after failed re-connect is a nightmare.

I can live with this problem just by switching to 5Ghz wifi.

But if it's a software related issue then it should be fixed.

Hi,

from me, just a 'thank you' that the updating issue itself has been resolved a few days after a Lenovo administrator took notice of this thread.

On a big upgrade like this, there are usually some glitches, which will hopefully resolved over the next months. After all, one of the main promises of Android 9 is easier updates for the manufacturers, and updates have been a major problem for Lenovo in the past. In fact, after reading several reviews on Lenovo tablets, I am pleaently surprised that we got an update to Android 9 at all, and even relatively soon. Smiley Happy

Re: [BUG] Installing OTA fail:TB-X705F_USR_S200095_20190528_Q00332_ROW

Another week passes with no update to fix the many bugs in the latest download.

Miguel, how do I back to Android 8.1.? It wasn't perfect BUT so much better than the system on my tablet now. As mentioned in a previous post, I have done a complete reset, which did not fix any of these problems mentioned below.

Here are things that are buggy with my P10:

1. Unable to get widgets to stay on the screen, after rebooting.

2. Unable to get new app icons to stay on screen, after rebooting.

3. Unable to use wifi in rooms away from router or modems. (No other devices I use have this problem)

4. When tablet is on the charger, it will turn itself off.

5. When using a bluetooth speaker, after successfully pairing the device, I now have to always go into the settings and click on "Previously connected devices" instead of the tablet remembering the paired speaker. An extra step which is unnecessary and annoying.

Not happy Miguel, and I am definitely not recommending this product to anyone else. Please let me know how to return to a workable operating system as soon as possible. Thank you.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
