I mailed with Lenovo again to address this problem.
I have asked them to get in contact with Google for solving this problem!
This because Google blames Lenovo and Lenovo blames Google...
I hope they come with a working solution!

And the answer from Lenovo is:
The problem has been presented to our 2nd line technical escalation department, they will take this into their internal consultation with the developers to check if it can be adjusted on the basis of a future update from Lenovo / Google.

Hi, well that sounds somewhat positive. Thanks for that. I am still getting told to clear the cache and try again. Kind of frustrating...

I've also put a link to this thread on the Amazon listing for these tablets.. Could be a few people buying them and having the same issue - and resulting in a lot of returns!

I have the exact same issue on a Lenovo tab2 A7-10f and know two other people having the same issue with the same device.
Pretty sure an update will not reach our devices...
Edit : today YouTube update works !!!

Guys. I think something is happening with this now. I tried to force an update of the PlayStore last night and amazingly it updated. It hasn't done this for the last month or so. I then tried to update the apps that wouldn't update previously. This time most did with the expection of Google Drive, Google Play Books, Google Calendar, Gmail, & Google. These are now failing with error code 910
