After a recent firmware update, the nordic style keyboard from my Lenovo TAB4 10 has gone missing. After going to the settings of TouchPal 2016, selecting language, only english is selected, and for my language (Finnish, and also for several other languages) I cannot select it, with only a message displayed "Please check preload path. The preload database is not available." Please advise how to fix this.
Model: Lenovo TB-X704L
Kernel version: 3.18.31
Firmware version: TB-X704L_S000055_180508_ROW

Same error message here when trying to install an additional keyboard:
"Please check preload path. The preload language database is not available."
Surprisingly Google shows only 10 hits for this error message.
TouchPal seems to be very helpful on Twitter
Anyone a solution?
I think that I found the solution on my Dutch tablet. I hope that I use the correct translations in the menus. The example is with the German language pack.
Go to "Settings" ---> "Apps" and delete "Touchpal German Pack".
Go back to the main Settings menu and select "Language and input" ---> "Virtual keyboard". "TouchPal 2016" should be in the list, select it. (Otherwise use the + button to activate it.)
Choose "Languages" and scroll to the bottom. Under "Available languages" there is now an item "Deutsch" (German) and a text like "Not installed. Click here for download from TouchPal server". Click to start the download.
After the download has finished the language appears under "Installed languages" at the top of the list and the grey line shows the used keyboard which can be changed. For German there are four options, for English three.
With the help of the Easy Uninstaller app I uninstalled the interminable list of TouchPal language packs. Must have been 120. Now all the uninstalled languages are sorted under "Available languages" in the Languages settings of TouchPal.
