Palm rejection feature on ideatab S2110 ?

I just recently ordered a Lenovo S2110 ideatab.  I intend to use this tablet for serious note-taking.

I am a graduate student, and need to archive all my notes for future reference, and my intention is to completely replace paper-notes.  I plan to carry this to all my classes, and use a stylus for taking notes.

Having said that, I would like to know if there is "Active palm rejection" hardware built into the Lenovo Ideatab S2110.    I know that some apps and a few styluses incorporate the palm rejection feature (to a certain extent), but I wanted to know if the tablet hardware itself has active digitizer palm rejection  (like the thinkpad tabler corporate tabs)...

I am asking this because my daily lecture notes will consist of engineering drawings, and lots of text, that I just definitely need a tablet with palm rejection technology.  Any inputs/help is highly appreciated.

Re: Palm rejection feature on ideatab S2110 ?

So your telling me you ordered the tablet without knowing it will fit your one most important need?

Ok. Kind of weird.

Well, most of us are still waiting for ours to show up so...or even get a solid ship date... So far we guessing what this tablet can or cannot do is the best until you yet shaxs or another member to have input.

Re: Palm rejection feature on ideatab S2110 ?

@velomobile:   Thank you for replying.

I ordered this tablet because I needed a 10.1" screen for note-taking, and textbook annotations. And considering that it is very thin, and lightweight (compared to similar 10-ish inch tabs), it would be easy for me to carry around, all day in school.

I hope the Lenovo moderators (or anyone else who has some relevant info) help me with my question on palm rejection.

Does any ideatab released thus far (the K1, S2109 etc.) have palm rejection capability ? If so, we can safely assume that this one too does.

Re: Palm rejection feature on ideatab S2110 ?

Since this does not have a Stylus pen, it would not have palm rejection.

A cheap pen from the store is the same as your finger, if it had rejection you would not be able to write.

Only tablets like the TPT and Note have built in Stylus's with palm rejection.

Only way to write without issues is to buy/use a glove. Smudge Guards are nice. Look them up. I can't wait to order one. But for now I just cut an old cotton $2 gloves.
