As most of you know Lenovo released the official ICS build for the Ideapad K1 today. The new bootloader will not allow me to boot into recovery partition, so no custom recovery for now. Unfortunately the build released by Lenovo also does not include Google Apps. I have added in the latest Google Apps package including Face Unlock, and rooted it.
I posted two versions of the Rom both rooted and not rooted. The non rooted is 100% stock with Google Apps. The rooted has the latest Superuser.apk and su binary and the latest busybox, and the boot.img has been modified to allow adb remount.
This will wipe your entire device. You will lose all apps and data. I am in no way responsible for your device, as always flash at your own risk.
Extract .zip file
Double click flash-windows.bat
cd into extracted directory
chmod +x flash-linux.sh

I just got done installing your Rooted HC Release so the wife wouldn't be so pissed since Lenovo's release "ruined" her tablet, and I thought "ahhhh, I'll check one more time before I go to sleep"; and BEHOLD, Khanning comes through with some magic! This will be a nice surprise for her to wake up to!!! Thanks-a-Million!

Thank you Kreg and thank you Mark!
Just to clarify from the other (now locked) topic.
I wasn't complaining about the release of ICS, I was complaining about the missing info that the complete Google Apps package would be missing.
But... this here, the speed at which Kreg added the gapps and made this an easily accessible release, is just stunning.
It's a really cool display of Lenovo working with devs.
