Re: Tab4 8 Problems with 8.1 Oreo update

So just click images (above tools) and then click ok.

Then continue on following the tutorial.

Yeah, keep going you haven't attached the tablet yet... After that you'll be able to see stuff.

Re: Tab4 8 Problems with 8.1 Oreo update

OK, sorry for the false problem. With my luck, I have now a real problem. :-( I connect with pressing volume button and the LED blinks in red, but when I click refresh, MiFlahs still stays blank. I don't have the COMx.

PS: I downloaded a more recent and an older version of MiFlash (2015 and 2018) and they both show COM6. The only non working version is the 2016 you give! Smiley Very Happy

I will try tomorrow, I don't have time to flash now but it's on better way! Thanks. (Several MiFlash versions here and other tools)

I have tried with Lenovo Moto Assistant, but after downloading the firmware, the "Rescue" button remains disabled. At least I've got the last 7.1.1 firmware.

Re: Tab4 8 Problems with 8.1 Oreo update

Which version of Windows? Maybe it just didn't install correctly.

Anyway, good luck.

Re: Tab4 8 Problems with 8.1 Oreo update

I'm on Win 7. Maybe 2016 version is a bit different. An older version Qfil (1.0.0.3) is more simple and seems to work also, even I don't try to flash everything was ready.

Thanks for your patience.

Re: Tab4 8 Problems with 8.1 Oreo update

Done. But I could not flash the firmware 042 downloaded on Lenovo. I only can put the 026 version from the russian forum, now I'm updating to 042.
