You should just be able to edit the body of the message to keep or delete whatever you want. Put the cursor at the end of the forward info you want to delete & press the backspace key for every letter & space you want to remove. Or press & hold on a word then use the selection handles to highlight all that you want to delete, then delete via the backspace or delete key. Or select what you want to keep, then copy & paste that into a new email & enter the recipients address. Does that help?

Thanks for replyI guess the problem is in my Xfinity email program...with the Lenovo Tab2 A10 the cursor will not enter the section 'original sender'....I will have to try it with a Gmail address to see if it works.....

I've not seen that with any email program. My Lenovo device default email app allows editing (app is just called email). Have you checked the Xfinity app or email account settings, or if they offer support? GMail should work.
