Re: A1 7" help please. I wanna calibrate the touch screen

I've done this, but I keep getting the calibration fail. Just bought the tablet two days ago. Any suggestions?
I can usually restart it and the touch screen will be fin (problem has only happened twice), but I want to recalibrate it as a precaution.

Maverick6565,

If you're having problems with the touch screen and the calibration fails only two days after buying it, it's probably faulty - ask the vendor for an exchange.

Re: A1 7" help please. I wanna calibrate the touch screen

I talked to Lenovo Tech Support. They told me to drain the battery completely, then charge it up to at least 20%, then try to calibrate it. And if that doesn't work, the told me to return it to the vendor (in my case, Office Max).
Like I said, I've been able to restart it and get the touch screen working again, I'm just doing this as a precaution. If anyone's doing the same as me, then to drain the battery, I reccomend Netflix. Drained about %70-%80 in about an hour.

Re: A1 7" help please. I wanna calibrate the touch screen

In my case the screen was completely unresponsive. A few suggestions:
1. Hod down the power button six seconds to force power down.
5A. If calibration fails, try again several times.
5B. If calibration still fails, select the reset option.

Resetting is what seems to have resolved my issue.
