Re: Android Source Code

[ Edited ]

Does Lenovo understand that by living up to their GOOGLE software agreement and releasing the source code for the A1 and K1

Tablets that they would probably increase sales tremendously!  As it stands they are alienating the people that purchase their products!

I demand that the source code for the Kernel, Uboot, recovery and system all be released immediately. I doubt you would want hundreds of dissatisfied customers telling all of their friends not to buy lenonvo products. Android is open source that is why so many people buy it over Apple or Webos.  If you refuse to post the source code just refund the price of the tablets to those of us asking for the source code.  We can take our business elsewhere.

                                                                                                                Thanks,

                                                                                                                 Mike Collini

Re: Android Source Code

Lenovo, please help!
If you can't fix this thing, let us do it for you. Unlock, and give us the the source of everything please. The stock product STINKS. You may learn something about product improvement and keep customers, if follow some of the forums for your tablets. There are many talented people on these forums fixing your product's faults and your cooperation would help. I hope my next post can be a reply of thanks for your reasonable response.

This is a Peer-to-Peer forum. Posting that on here will get you no where fast. Yes there are Lenovo staff on here. But you just need to contact Lenovo on this matter.

And, Lenovo has been contacted.  A Customer Advocate has taken ownership of the issue. I got an update from him earlier in the week and the ball is being moved (slowly) down the field.
