2nd hard drive caddy boot (B590)

2014-01-26, 10:50 AM

I have the laptop B590 (Intel Celeron 1.8GHz, 6GB RAM, 320 GB HD) and I have installed Linux (Ubuntu 13.10 64bit). Then I bought a second hard drive (120 GB), replaced the 320GB drive with this one, and installed Windows 7 64bit after the installation I have put back the 320GB drive and I bought a HDD caddy where I have put the 120GB drive and put it instead of the CD/DVD drive. The problem is that when I start the laptop and press F12 (to select boot device) the 120GB drive is not there ! I can't boot from the 2nd drive that I have in the HDD caddy. When I boot with the 320GB drive in Ubuntu I can see the 120GB drive (it works perfect) but it doesn't boot.

Thanks for your help.
