Audio Enhancement Tab missing for Bluetooth speakers after driver update

2017-01-16, 23:16 PM

Hi,

I have a G 50-80 Laptop (Broadcom for network/bluetooth & Conexant for audio)

I just updated my Bluetooth drivers to the latest ones. After that, the Enhancement tab has gone missing. Now I am getting very flat and bland audio from my bluetooth speakers (Unfortunately, Dolby Digital Plus does not work for bluetooth speakers).

I have tried all the following steps:

1. Uninstall audio drivers and restarting my PC

2. Uninstall the new bluetooth drivers and reinstall the old version drivers.... no go.

3. Reset the system (reinstalled OS without loosing the personal data)

4. Update audio drivers to latest version.

None of the above worked.

Please help.

Hi joyghosh  and welcome to the community,

Could you try uninstalling the Bluetooth driver and then restarting the Machine. See if the Generic MS Driver solves the issue.

Hope this help you and let us know how you get on
