I have B560 for almost two years, but I have one annoying problem:
From time to time, after certain period without usage, I can't get picture on my external display (Philips 221S).
I use HDMI to DVI cable.
I tried to switch 3 different cables, to make sure it's not related to the cable itself, but problem persists.
When I attach notebook to a TV (HDMI to HDMI) I have a picture on the TV screen, so I guess video card works fine.
Downgrade solution is then connecting notebook to the Philips display via VGA cable, but I don't like the output picture.
I took the display to a service and they confirmed it worked perfectly, after testing all connectors.
I tried to search on various forums, but without success, so I will appreciate any suggestion.
Operating system: W7SP1 64-bit
Display driver: GeForce 310M 331.82

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I’m sorry to hear that your B560 Laptop is not connecting to External display, I suggest you to un-install the display driver installed in the computer from “Device Manager” and let me know the findings if issue persists and if any error is generated.
Hope to hear back soon

Unfortunatelly, reinstalling video driver didn't help.
I am using VGA cable now, kind of used to it lately, so it's not a really big problem.
Anyway, thank you for your answer, I appreciate it.

As the issue persists, the issue should resolve if the latest display driver is installed in the computer, below are the link to automatically scan the computer and install the relevant driver from Intel and Nvidia:
Hope this helps!!!
