B570 Fingerprint Enrollment Issue

I recently purchased a b570 and set up everything in my wife's profile, had her enroll a couple fingers and everything went fine. I had a huge hit of windows updates, and after those were finished I added an account for me and when I went to enroll, the test went fine scanning the finger 3 times and then went and entered my password and clicked a finger to enroll and it had me scan 6 times (I'd swear it was only 3 when I did hers) and it scans all successfully and then gives the error that enrollment failed. I went back to her profile, she can log in fine with her fingerprint and I attempted to enroll another finger on her account and it does a 6 scan and fails enrollment on her account now as well.

 

It appears to scan the finger fine hence her being able to log in and all but adding new fingers blows. Any information?

Hi

 

Welcome To Lenovo Community

 

You may please try removing the driver for the finger print reader and the bioexcess software. 

Then create an account (with administrator privileges)  

 

Then reinstall the software, reboot, then reinstalled the driver.   EgisTec Fingerprint Driver
