B590 power light flashing orange

Question

 I recently noticed that my Lenovo B590 Laptop Power Indicator Light has been flashing orange. I tried restarting the laptop and making sure all the plugs are secure but nothing seems to effect it. What does the power indicator light flashing orange mean?

there is a description of the color / blink 'codes'.

Basically, a slow orange blink means that the battery is between 5 and 20% charged (and charging). It should change to a slow green blink at 20%.
