Sorry to inform you if you forgot the BIOS password then no way to clear or reset the password, the only choices are remembering the password is replacing the motherboard.

Re: BIOS Password Updated as BANK but not working

Hi compserlogin,

As you mention you tried with old password and it’s not working also if you left password option blank it means your system is not having any password. If your system is still asking for password then please press only enter and check its logging in or not, if not it means something you are missing might be by mistakenly some of the character is entered in password field and you saved the changes. And for laptop no jumper reset or option available, only way is replace motherboard.

I hope the above information helps.

Re: BIOS Password Updated as BANK but not working

Bios.wph is not avablable for this system model even using that if you will update BIOS it will ask you for the password.

Re: BIOS Password Updated as BANK but not working

The issue with BIOS password is that you used spaces for a "blank" password.  The spacebar is the only key on the keyboard that does not generate a character in ASCII, it is a special character, and usually does not work in passwords because of that.

At this point your system will need to be repaired in a Lenovo shop to have this issue corrected.  If the machine is not currently under warranty it will be at your expense to have a system board replacement performed.  It may be cheaper in the long run to purchase a new machine.  Make sure you get a quote in writing before you send it out for repair.
