@snovich,

Engineering reverted that the structure and the design of the IdeaPad is different compared to the T510. Therefore they are unable to do the switchable option to choose discrete only in BIOS.

Thanx for information. Must wait for optimus linux driver...but don't know when will be released.

So bad that optimus work with win 7 and vista only...

Will be any update for bios soon?

There will not be a BIOS that will enable the users to choose between integrated or discrete GPU.

did anyone successfully changed the wlan card and which one can be used.

Or is there a possibility to let the bios install any wlan card (whitelist).
