Hi Alansd2003,

Welcome to the forum.

What OS are you using?

What is your machine/type number?

Vince.

this is just a guess, but on my lenovo yoga13 there is a power managment program by lenovo.  I dont have my yoga handy to give you the specific names, but anyhow there are two or three 'battery' settings.  One allows the battery to charge to 100% as any mormal laptop would do.  the other allows the battery to only charge to 60% to allow the overall life of the battery to last longer.

I suspect you can resolve your issue by changing the setting there.   good luvk and let us know if it works
