Just bought a G41-35 laptop and I noticed it is not charging over 60%. Looked around the internet and saw articles that said threshold can be fixed by the Lenovo Setting app but apparently mine is not working. Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling but still just crashes. I am using a windows 10 SL OS. Please advise on alternatives to fix battery charging threshold other that Lenovo setting app. Or, how to fix the app so I can work on charging threshold.

Hi Maboroshi ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
You may try changing Settings within One Key Optimizer ,go to the tab Save Power, click on Battery Conservation , Enable Conservation Mode to disable similar to this discussion .
Alternatively to try :start menu -> Lenovo group 1 applications -> Settings.-> Conversation mode on/off
Update us how it goes on your end.

The OneKey Optimizer solution did the trick. Although it was not on the laptop when checked so had to download from third party website as a compatible version was not available from the forum for some reason. Lenovo settings app or any app with Lenovo on it still seem not to work but my beef was with the battery so I guess I'm good. Once again thanks for the save.
Have a good one,
