I am having issues with booting my laptop. The other day I tried turned on my laptop and it came up with a message which disappeared before I could check what it said. It then put me in a loop with restarting my laptop with options and now it isn't booting at all. Each time I try and power on the machine the screen goes black and the lights on the front to show power and charge light up. Then after about 20 or so seconds, it shuts down. I also tried pressing the OneKey Recovery button on the left side of the device however this did the same as the power button. I stripped down the laptop to check the CMOS battery to see if that was the issue but the battery was healthy and showing 3.19 volts. What else could this issue be?

Hopefully by the sounds of things, it will be just a HDD problem, you may want to try with a new one.
Otherwise, I think there may be a motherboard issue afoot if the HDD doesn`t work.
However, if you have warranty, you may want to get in touch with your local Lenovo support line, they may be able to help with a repair.
