Brand new G505: Touchpad unresponsive/freezes

Okay, I bought a Brand new Lenovo G505 from Newegg.


The first day, the touchpad seems kind of weird. I've never had a laptop before so I didn't know what to think.


Today, the touchpad froze. I could not get it to move- neither of the key worked! The keyboard was fine but the touchpad was COMPLETELY unresponsive. Eventually, I put the screen down and flipped it back up and it worked. 


Whats the problem? This laptop is BRAND NEW. Did i just get a faulty one? Should I return it? This should be a part of the warranty right?

I’m sorry to hear that the Touchpad, Keyboard are not working as expected in your G505 Laptop, I suggest you to re-install the Touchpad drivers for the computer. Below is the link to download the same:
