Look for you model's maintenance manual (search it on internet, it is not included in the retail box), there should be a full parts list, there you'll find the size of you laptop's optical, then look for a caddy with those dimmensions, it should support a caddy, because optical drives use a SATA connection.
Remember that CD/DVD's are also a storage device, so they aldo transfer and keep data like SSD/HDD, the only difference is the power connector, and there's were the caddy takes place.
