Can you try Manually pointing the extracted files to the hardware.
Can you recall where the files extracted? if not run the drivers again and check where it extracted.
Open Device Manager, look for the Audio device it might me an icon with question mark or check under sound and gaming controller, But if a device was not able to install a driver it will show there with a yellow bang sign or exclamation point.
--- Right Click that device and choose update or install driver
It will then ask you if you want to search automatically or Browse my computer for driver
choose Browse my computer for driver, then hit browse on the next windows then direct it to where the conexant extracted. see if that'll work
If that didn't work try to do a clean boot then install it again
while on clean boot.
If non still
On device manager windows right click on that device and choose properties
Go to the details tab and select Hardware Id on the property dropdown. then copy the value and post it back here.

I would suggest that if you don't have that amount of data on this computer, Do a Facotry data reset using the Onekey recovery(system will be deleted) and automatically install a fresh windows with drivers and software that came from factory.
This can rule out your hardware because it should right away have the drivers installed to the audio, If not then consider it a hardware problem.
The drivers you installed the first time (the one from your system's driver download site) should work right away given that the system does not have problem with windows or Audio hardware.
You can also call Lenovo Technical Support for additional input about the problem and also for hardware assistance
