G 570 - Internal MIC Issue & Registration of New Product

Hi,

 

Just bought  a new Lenov G570 a month ago but am having problem with the Internal MIC. Am not able to use the MIC at all the way it should be used. The MIC works but there is a lot of voice breakage and a lot of noise. I tried to make the Speakers MUTE which makes the MIC response better than when the Speakers are UNMUTE or even when a Head Phone is used, the MIC works better. But even with these changes, the other party is able to hear the 1st party but it is still not clear and not continuous. There is a lot of breakage of voice.

 

Also when I try to register my new product, I am not able to do it. I am not able to find the Model Number on my Lenovo G570.

 

Can anyone help me out with this issue.

also, re-installing/updating sound drivers may help you.

i was given the number 877-453-6686 to call to register the product. i have not tried it - today is sunday an no one is home.
