2017-11-05, 3:25 AM

Hey, i'm planning on replace my 2×4gb ram w/ CORSAIR 2×8gb DDR3L. Is this brand suitable for my laptop? Or is there any better solution? I'm looking for suitable ram for video editing. Thank you

HI hyemun01.

Welcome to the Community Forums.

As per processor support with the max RAM: DDR3L 12800/1600 CL11

2 slots, 16 GB (Beema) : 1 slot, 8 GB (Kabini)

Certified OEM ram are listed here on the hardware manual item11 page 77

You can also try using Crucial scanner for verification as option.

With the same specification such would be expected to work but I was not able to get a confirmed ram upgrade with Corsair yet. When purchasing from other resellers it would be better to check on return options just in case if a spare test Corsair RAM is not available.

Hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
