G40-70 Brightness buttons (F11 and F12) don't work

I've just acquired this Lenovo G40-70, it came with Linux so I installed Windows 7 Professional 64bits and downloaded all the drivers from the support page for my computer, I've got everything working except for this three buttons: Brightness+/- , and the Airplane button .... what should I do? I've reinstalled all the drivers from your website, and also the last graphics software from intel ... nothing works ...

Re: G40-70 Brightness buttons (F11 and F12) don't work

hi soulzion,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Please try installing this Software,

Lenovo Energy Management

This should provide function to your FN keys.

Hope this helps

Re: G40-70 Brightness buttons (F11 and F12) don't work

Thank you so much, you guys should update the link of energy management in the drivers page of G40-70 too, because the one that is there, doesn't let the fn keys work Smiley Sad

Cheers!

Re: G50-80 Brightness buttons (F11 and F12) don't work

I have a problem in adjusting my brightness as my F11 and F12 buttons dont work and i dont have a "change brightness" option in my settings. I've tried updating drivers but still doesn't work.

Have you installed Lenovo's Energy Management utility?
