G410m-mm gives 60,7gb instead of 80gb. How to recover the 19,3gb?

Hello!

My LENOVO 3000 G410m-mm has a 80 gb HDD (HTS541680J9SA00), but Windows Vista shows that the HDD is 60,7 gb only! How to recover the lost 19,3gb?

Regards,

Dmitry

The other 19.3 gig probably has gone to your hidden partition for the OS and various drivers, you should create a set of Recovery media from your thinkvantage software.

You can't really make it available unless you delete the hidden partition, which is not recommended. But if you something like Acronis or Norton Ghost you may able to delete it.

Thanks wjli2 for your answer!

Why is not deletion of the hidden partition recommended? The Novo should not work anyway, because I united the visible partitions to increase united free space, and I'm going to install Vista Ultimate, not basic.
