G45 - Display Driver and Mouse

Good evening. My G45 laptop still having issues with the display driver crashing. It has the latest driver that I know of. What can be done to stop this?

Also my mouse pointer will just all of a sudden stop working (moving). I turn off the mouse for a few seconds and turn it back on and it will work properly. I am on my 3rd mouse now and they all have had new battery(s). The mouse I am using now is brand new. Is there something going bad on the board. Please assist. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your assistance.

Doug

Re: G45 - Display Driver and Mouse

Hi there, DJM             -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

Please go through this link for driver related issues.

Also, does the external mouse produce the same problem?

Update us how it goes.

Re: G45 - Display Driver and Mouse

None of the info from your link helps. The mouse is completely separate from the driver problem. I have had nothing but issues with this laptop from the beginning and Lenovo has NOT stood behind it. I have contacted them numerous times about this while it was still under warranty and they have NEVER responded. I will NEVER buy another Lenovo product. As far as I am concerned it is junk.
