G460 Touchpad Issue

Hi

 

I recently bought G460 laptop > To my surprsie the touchpad is very unresponsive.since I bought it from overseas and hv comeback to my country,really don't know how to get this fixed..Also I understand from the community that its a known issue faced by others also..Can someone guide me on how to get this resolved...Thx Rajeev

Hello,

 

They all unresponsive because of plastics used. The only thing to do is to make sure your fingers are clean and dry. Unresponsiveness and dragging is caused by moisture on your fingers. Your fingers should be dry and your touch pad should be dry!

 

Other than that don't press into it, touch means a light touch. Picture tickling a sleeping girl's nose with a feather; like that.

Sorry to hear you don't like the touchpad, but you're out of luck with official support. That laptop only has support in the country it was purchased in. You could send it to somebody in the U.S. and have them send it in for repair, then send it back to you.
