G470 battery exhaustion

hello. i have a problem here with my battery, the battery icon showed that 87% plugged not charging (i always set it in best battery health mode). but after i check it through lenovo energy management and it showed me a battery exhaustion notice. is the battery reset gauge feature can make it back to normal?

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

It could be a faulty battery. This usually happens if the battery is not communicating with the system.

 

Try this step:

 

Power off the system. Disconnect the adapter and the battery. Press and hold the power button for at least 30 seconds (without adapter and battery). Now connect the battery and the adapter. Power on the system and check if it works fine.

 

Update us how it goes.

Did u tried battery gauge reset?
