So my dad bought me this lenovo g480 back in 2013 which i am currently still using. Last year, I got into Linux and then thought why not dual boot Kali Linux into my laptop. So I downloaded the Linux image and I was so excited to install it. So I needed to disable secure boot from the UEFI Firmware Settings, but for a whole month I tried every single method I could find online to get into UEFI (holding/tapping esc/f1-f12, etc.) I restored my laptop to factory settings but I still can't get it to enter UEFI settings. Its been a year now and I still can't get it enter no matter what I try.

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
I would recommend, that you call your local Lenovo support line for a possible service as by the sounds of things, this will be a hardware fault with the unit. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
