I have recently bought an Essentials G480 and want to upgrade my memory from 4GB to 8GB, but I'm not sure if this one:
is compatible with my notebook. Does anyone know? Thanks =D
Ps.: by compatible I mean "can it run in dual channel?"

Welcome to the Lenovo Community.
The Lenovo G480's motherboard can support as much as:
- 8GB max / PC3-12800 1600MHz DDR3*, non-parity
- dual-channel capable, two 204-pin SO-DIMM sockets
The link you posted is compatible for your model. As for dual-channel configuration, it is recommended to have two identical RAM (brand, freq., timings, etc.) to get the best results. You can find more info on the Lenovo G480 here.
- the system automatically clocks down for processors with 1333MHz DDR3
- this means you must have the i5 processor to utilize the 1600Mhz speed.
Hope this helps
