Hello everyone, about 6 months ago I bought Lenovo G480 (Intel Pentium B960, 2 GB DDR3, NVidia G610M). I would like to upgrade the memory, and I'm wondering how much is the maximum memory size allowed.
Currently it has one 2 GB DDR3 (PC3-12800) card, and from the information that I gathered so far, there are 4 slots in the motherboard (although I'm not quite sure), the motherboard itself is Lenovo Emerald Lake 2 (FAB 1). I've been searching the motherboard spec. but hardly find any information about the max memory capacity. So my main question is how many slot available there? And how big is the max RAM size for each slot?

Welcome to the forums
Your G480 supports a Max 8GB DDR3 ram , the system has 2 slots of ram not 4
hope this helps

Huummm.... but I'm still wondering why do both CPU-Z (RAM detected on 3rd slot on CPU-Z) and Windows Task Manager recognize 4 slot?
