I intend to upgrade my G50-30 by changing default 2 GB samsung RAM to some 4 GB.
Previously installed RAM: SAMSUNG M471B5674QH0-YK0 (DDR3L 2GB, 1600 MHz, 1.35V) like this
New RAM: Kingston ACR16D3LS1NGG (DDR3L 4 GB, 1600 MHz, 1.35V) like this
After changing, the laptop won't turn on. Neither OS (Windows in this case) nor BIOS, not even spalsh screen. The only things that turn on are LEDs on the front. Screen remains black without highlight or whatsoever. The same when trying to fire it up with NOVO button.
After downgrading back to 2 GB everything works properly.
Any ideas what may cause the problem and how to fix it?

Does your machine have 1 memory slot or 2?
Where did you buy the new Kingston 4GB ram? amazon?
Passmark shows it as Dual voltage, 1.5v and 1.35v. This may cause a issue.
Kingston.com memory advisor recommends this memory for your machine:

Thank you very much for your reply.
The machine has only 1 slot, thats why I need to replace RAM, not just add another one.
Thanks for pointing dual-voltage issue, but I was sure that 'dual-voltage' means that RAM should work with both voltage options, right?
I bought 4 GB RAM second hand in a minor polish shop. I have warranty, but before returning the product I just want to make sure that I did everything right and its the product fault.

Kingston ram is ratty at times. Yes the amazon, kinda link stated 1.35v. This is wrong.
You need 1.35v on any market. NON dual voltage. Cruical.com is my memory. Find it in the polish shop.
Shop for this.
Run if you hear the word Kingston. run run run.
