hi carousi,

Welcome to the Forums.

In the BIOS, can you check if these settings are set in the BIOS:

Security Tab:

Secure Boot = Disabled

Boot Tab:

Boot Mode = UEFI

USb Boot = Enabled

Exit Tab:

OS Optimized Defaults = Other OS

When finished, hit F10 to save & exit and observe if you can not install Windows 10.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards

hi there,

Does this happen also if you run the Windows 10 Setup inside Windows (to do an upgrade rather than doing a clean install) ?

Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation

Other things that you can try:

1. In the BIOS, change the Boot Mode to Legacy then hit F10 to save and exit then try to install Windows 10 again.

2. If same problem, boot into Windows 7 and install the latest BIOS update (see Sumary of Changes).

BIOS Update For Windows 7 (32-Bit, 64-Bit), Windows 8 (64-Bit), Windows 8.1 (64-Bit

Regards

@keissi

Can you try these additional steps:

1. Boot into the BIOS and in the Exit tab then select Load Optimal Defaults then hit Yes.

2. Navigate to the Configuration tab and set these settings:

USB Legacy Enabled

Wireless = Disabled

USB Mode = USB 2.0

When finished, hit F10 to Save and Exit.

3. Boot from the Windows 10 bootable flashdrive installer and observe.

If that doesn't work, download the Windows 10 ISO and mount it inside Windows. After mounting, navigate to the E:\xxx\Sources\ then run the setup.exe file inside.(where E:\xxx is the path where the Windows 10 ISO is mounted).

Let me know if this works for you.

Regards

Perhaps you wanna try what Elias5 did in this thread to solve the problem.

In addition, you may want to install all necessary updates prior to updating and If you have set Finnish or Swedish keyboard layout on your system, try to switch first to English and observe.
