Dear G50-70, please help.
the LCD screen of my G50-70 is shattered and I need to boot from BIOS with 'one key recovery' and enable external monitor. Could you please drive me 'blindly' through this procedure, i.e. keystroke by keystroke?
Please note that I've already tried various key combo but they don't work.
This post is identical to this one:
except model is different and also BIOS, plus I need to be driven from one-key recovery:
my BIOS model is 9ACN25WW
Please help me recover and recycle this laptop,
wish you a good day,

Hi onesto ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
The discussion by Neokenchi is indeed helpful blind guide but seems that the reason you are not successful is the BIOS version 9ACN25WW may not have the switchable graphics option as seen here on this video for a G50.
Hope this help answer your query.

it does answer it indeed, but not the way I wished...
Any ideas to solve my problem?
I tried physically unplugging LCD to 'force' VGA output but I had no success.
Is there a way to select VGA starting from 'one key recovery'?
OS is Win 8.1.
thanks for the reply anyway,
all the best

Welcome to the Lenovo Community onesto !
I assume that you have tried using the F10 Hotkey to switch the display from LCD to an external monitor? I'm not sure on your model if the Hotkey is BIOS supported or OS supported only.

Hi onesto ,
I hope connecting to the HDMI monitors would work aside from using a docking bay .
Turn off the laptop and connect to the HDMI cable of the external monitor (off) .
Turn on the monitor and then turn on the laptop (any display yet?).
Pressing on F10 (hotkeys page 30) toggles the display between the computer and an external device.
Else Win + P if you feel it manage to boot in Windows.
Final option is finding a spare LCD compatible screen to plug it temporarily.

All the best for now,
