G50-80 - Install SSD - Void warranty?

ENGLISH:

 

Hello. 

 

My laptop is G50-80 and it's in the warranty.

 

So.. i would like to know if i can do this without losing my warranty:

 

1- Replace the HDD that came with, for an SSD;

2- Replace the OD (Optical Drive) with an HDD Caddy an put there my old HDD or SSD;

3- Format the entire original HDD and do a clean install of the OS (Operating System).

O modelo do meu portátil é o G50-80.

Gostaria de saber se perco o direito à garantia ao efectuar os seguintes passos:

1- Substituir o HDD por um SSD;
2- Colocar um HDD Caddy no lugar da drive optica para ser colocado um HDD ou SSD nesse lugar(Atenção que isto é uma coisa e o ponto 1 é outra);
3- Formatar o meu HDD que veio com o portatil para fazer um fresh install.

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

 

The upgrades and changes you wish to make will not void your warranty.  With your model replacing the hard drive and optical drive are consumer replaceable items (CRU).  Page i of your model's User Guide lists all the items that can be accessed and replaced by the owner without  warranty concerns.  For your reference, here is a link to that guide......
