I am running One Key Optimizer and have a red dot on the battery level, which I thought meant that my computer needed to be optimized. (It did, to be honest.) However, after I did the Checkup, nothing showed up as wrong, but then when I went into the Battery area, it showed that the battery should be calibrated, which I tried starting.
It started, but it only charged my battery up, and not discharged it to recharge it. I have it currently on high performance setting to help drain the battery, and I have it unplugged to try and discharge the battery. I know it has to be plugged in, not allowed to sleep, or not to power down the PC, but if it won't discharge, then what's the sense of a calibration? What is wrong?
