Question

I cannot find a suitable driver for an unknown device that can be seen from Device Manager in my Windows 7.

The message is ACPI\VPC2004.

What is that device and what driver or software is needed?

Answer

The ACPI\VPC 2004 is the Power Management system on your system.

Download and Install this driver for your Windows 7: (File name emw7034.exe)

 Lenovo Energy Management

Alternatively, you can browse to support.lenovo.com to get the latest version of this driver.

This software and driver come preloaded with Windows, however, not all of Lenovo products are loaded with Windows 7 preloads. New products launched after end of year 2013 are normally preloaded with only WIndows 8 / 8.1 or Free-DOS. Therefore, this power management software is not available in support site for Windows 7 download.
