Hi, I'm trying to install Windows 7 64-Bit on a fresh drive. It came preinstalled as Windows 8. I thought I had found the right driver as setup accepts the file but still cant find any devices. The disk does appear in bios.
Can someone link me to the right .inf ? It's an AMD chipset.

Here is the driver for you.
*Edit* Sorry, I was a little ahead of myself there, I take it the Windows installation doesn't see your new HD when the window for the Disk/Partition selection comes up.
Are you trying to install Windows from a USB key? Because I've seen this on many occasions, and switching your key over to another USB port on your machine gets rid of this error. Try another USB port for the installation, preferrably a USB 2 port, as the USB 3 ports require a driver in Windows to function properly.

Yes, CD or one of the 2 USB2 ports on your machine will do nicely and will pick up your HD during installation.
