I have a Lenovo g51 with the amd a8 processor and it is jus horribly slow. What can I do to make it be able to handle programs better? I've read that you would have to do a whole system board switch. If so what board do I switch to?

Hi Scalia66 ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
Best to have your machine number to verify the specific CPU you got . You may check it from the sticker or here .
Checking whether you CPU are soldered with the board like AMD A8 7410 would have a BGA (ball grid array) further suggest that no upgrade is possible since it is soldered .
Other ways to improve performance include minimizing other running programs in the background as done in clean boot would help.
Hope this help.
