My G510 charger broke, so I needed a new one. I bought from amazon but unfortuantely it just overheated and subsequently died within about a month. Ideally I'd like a proper Lenovo one to cover me but it seems I've bought a very obscure laptop and I cannot for the life of me find one on their site.
My laptop spec is: Lenovo G510 Laptop, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB, 15.6", Black (bought in July 2014)
This is the charger that didn't work: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lavolta-Adapter-Laptop-Charger-Thinkpad/dp/B00NA6RLCQ/ref=cm_cr_othr_d_prod...
Any help would be much appreciated

Did you look at the lenovo parts lookup site? Choose AC Adapters on the left. I dont know if your laptop originally came with a 65,90 or 135 watt adapter. Dont post your serial number here but if you put it there it should tell you what it came with originally.
IF its the 135 Watt adapter you can get at Lenovo Encompass. Please confirm correct part number before buying anywhere.
Also have you tried calling Lenovo Sales?
