I tried but nothing, I think that I will just remove the battery while working.

Sorry to hear that didn't work.  One more thing to check.  Click on the Settings.  Then choose Privacy.  Then click on Other Devices on the left menu.  Then see if Lenovo Companion and Lenovo Settings are listed in the right side screen.  If they are then make sure they are turned On for Let Apps use my.......

Thanks, I do what you suggested. I am now relaxed (I thought that maintaining battery at 60% might also damage the battery). Thanks.

You are very welcome.  I'm glad you found the information provided useful.

Once again, sorry that didn't work.  I'm out out of ideas, but I will ask around if anyone has any additional suggestions for you.

Re: [G510] Is it ok to leave the battery plugged in while it is being used?

Has anyone suggest to try scrolling the list of options presented on the battery screen...  The listing has a grey bar next to it, and the list of "options" shown seems to be a bit short.  On my Yoga it seems to scroll them when I am in tablet mode, using the touch screen interface.  Will get it back from my betterhalf when she comes home in a bit to check it out again in mouse click mode.

Cheers.

Re: [G510] Is it ok to leave the battery plugged in while it is being used?

KaisMea, I thought of another suggestion...... now that you have the Companion app installed try doing an update to see if the laptop will install any missing or newer files / drivers.  In Companion, click on the fourth icon from the top in the left side menu.  The icon looks like a little check mark with a circle around it.  The will open the System Update.  Click on the button for Check for new updates and install what is recommended.   Hopefully it will install a missing item needed to resolve your issues.

The grey bar is for the condition of the battery
