Hey, I just bought Lenovo G510 Laptop with Intel HD 4600 and Radeon 8750M. Everything fine exept the fact it doesnt switches GPUs when I play games. I tried everything. I set it the max performence when pluged in to AC and I set it to use max performance when playing games. Nothing works, the games show that the Intel GPU is working and the Radeon not. I have the latest drivers from Lenovo, I searched over the internet, nothing works. I just cant get the 8750M to work.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
You will need to refresh both of the graphics driver in order to make the switching working again,
First Uninstall the AMD driver and Software
Open Device Manager and look under Display Adapters
You should find your AMD/ATI Graphics there,
Right click on it and choose Uninstall, you will be prompted if you want to uninstall Driver software for this device, (Make sure to place a check under it then hit OK). Restart the system if prompted.
Now check under Control Panel / Uninstall a Program and Uninstall any AMD ATI Graphics related entry there.
You will need to do the same procedure with the Intel Graphics.
Now with all Graphics adapter using generic drivers
Download and install Intel Driver first followed by the AMD / ATI
"Download depending to your Windows Type and Version"
After Installation of both Drivers
Check if the Graphics switching will work
Hope this helps

Hi... Im facing the same problem too....
My system came with Win8 Home and since im a working professional, i downgraded to Win7 Ultimate... but now ... i cant see the Catalyst Control Center or Switchable Graphics Option upon right click.
Iv got the latest drivers installed and everything.... I even tried downloading the driver provided in the links by Solid_Cruver. Iv tried almost everything .... including installing the AMD driver suite (which is supposed to install the Catalyst software too) but even after installation completes successfully i cant see the options...
Please note.... I HAVE the latest drivers and everything. All i want is to see the Switchable Graphics Option and Catalyst Control Center again on right click. Is there any way just for getting the software?? I dont want to fry my Intergrated Graphic Card due to gaming...
Will the games still detect the AMD card if these two softwares are not installed?
Any Help is much appreciated .... Thanks a lot. Let me know if anyone needs more details.
My System Specs:
- Windows 7 Ultimate (32 Bit)
- Service Pack 1 Installed
- AMD Radeon HD8750M (Discrete)
- Intel Graphics HD4600 (Integrated)
- .NET framework 3.5
- 4GB RAM

I have the same problem but i my case i cannot see in Device manager the AMD Graphic Card, there is just written "Video adapter" but no more description.
I can normally instal the Intel Driver but with AMD i installed the catalyst but i still see in Device manager the same uknown device.
I tried this option to unnistall the intel video driver together with "AMD card - Unknown video adapter" and reinstal the graphic drivers as you described, but i still see just unknown video adapter..
What should i do to repair it or to help my Win 7 64-bit recognize the name of AMD graphic card?

I've solved this problem!
Just install AMD drivers found on support page for Lenovo g400: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS035530
This driver works: http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobiles/avga110w7.exe

I have installed the g400 driver, and it installed ok, I no longer have an unknown Video Controller in Device Manager (like i had with the g510 driver). Now, in device manager, it shows the AMD graphic card but it says that it is stopped "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)". So all videos wen full screen look sh*tty.
Why must it be so complicated to have a laptop up and running? Tis shouldn't be rocket science.
