Re: G560 Touchpad

yea, the multitouch on the touchpad works better in a way that it works with chrome now since it is my primary

browser. Without multitouch, it was a bit of a hassle to minimize windows. However, the scrollbar isn;t as good

as the g560 driver because it wasn't as dynamic. The g560 one allowed it so that when you move across the

scrollbar fast, it will scroll more; it would take around an average of two fast swipes to go from the bottom of

engadget.com to the top. However, i am perfectly fine with the way it works. Many thanks!

G560 touchpad

[ Edited ]

Hi

I think I have read most of the G560 touchpad posts but I can't find my problem. I do not like the tapping option, it is too senstive to me, so I turned it off. The rest of the touchpad works fine, however about once every 3 or 4 days the tapping option begins working.

I go to the Elan touchpad screen and tapping is turned off (turn on tapping check box is blank). I tried turning it on then off with no effect.  I have to reboot for tapping to be off again. It is frustrating when this happens Programs start unexpectedly then I realize the tapping option is on. I bought my G560 in Dec and did an auto driver check and it seems like I'm uptodate.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for any help!

Re: G560 touchpad

What do I have to do?

Obviously download the driver.  Do in need to delete my old driver?

Once I click on the file do I run it or save it?

If I save it do I then run it?

There is not details on the referenced site and all you said was try this.

Re: G560 touchpad

First uninstall your current driver. Then download that I posted before. Save the file and run it.
