Question

I recently bought a new Lenovo G570 Laptop (Windos 7) and immediately updated the BIOS (so I can't tell if it worked before).

Everything seems to be working perfect, but I found that Fn-F6 (enable/disable touchpad) is not working and the TouchPad is stuck enabled. Is this a BIOS problem or just wrong Windows configuration?

F6 itself works perfect. Other Fn combinations works fine as well. It's just the Fn-F6 combination that doesn't do anything.

Answer

You can try a few ways:

  1. Re-install Lenovo Energy Management tool (A power management)
  2. Check if new bios fixes this issue
  3. Re-install synaptics or touchpad driver
